1.purposelessness, time-wasting, apathy, cynical desuetude.. 2.aimless hobbies that run out the clock.

my great intellect brought me to the awareness that there is nothing better in life than being a dharma bum.
I find that the goal behind all goals is really peace of mind, not intellectual masturbation...which can be pleasurable, dont get me wrong, I have and will continue
to have textual intercourse with the hopes of orgasmic eppiphanies to come...but I see those things as mere chronocide devices.
btw, premeditated chronocide is only self defense.

i must say that i haven't had an internal struggle with myself before as i've had in recent months.
i'm learning so much about myself....about the kind of person i truly am, more about my flaws, my weaknesses, my strengths, the person i want to be, etc.
i'm learning more and more about having a more realistic view of dealing with life.
one of the first things I noticed post BORG was that they manipulate people by the time tested divide and conquer-- by getting you to have an internal war with yourself rather than understand the various desires and come to some sort of truce. By making any internal desire "evil" because it does not live up to some fantasy ideal, the only option you are given it is to fight it... making peace with EVIL is considered treason, colusion with the enemy... so you find as paul described a WAR between flesh [your real desires] and spirit [latin for hot air].
and because the desires of the flesh are classified as wicked, you are never permitted to see them as normal and natural, just sometimes inappropriate for the circumstance...which acquiring skills can easily remedy.
and i'm not talkng about historical referances, bible quotes, and those sorts of things.
instead i'm talking about how jw apologists conduct themselves on the internet.
they do it all the time.
as an aside-- yes JWs the world over give the very same answer to the same questions...
but ask the individual JW what that answer MEANS and you will get as many answers as JWs you ask.
the BORG has made a good job of superficial agreement, but the hive mind only penetrates the surface.
"xeno" is a common taxonomical designation for aliens (strangers) including extraterrestrials.. are you someone who lacks belief in intelligent extraterrestrial beings?
do you believe it is possible that such extraterrestrial beings exist?
do you think it is possible or likely that our planet has had interactions with extraterrestrials?.
I am sure there are aliens, but I am not sure they are actually intelligent.
After all, they never obduct Elle mcpherson from her hotel room, its usually
toothless trailer park Betty, to give her an anal probe and breed hybrids.
though being toothless themselves...perhaps she does look good to them?

in pondering why the pain of one can be the humor of another I came across something that may be relevant.
when someone wants to escape his Belief System, he will listen to anything he can use against his own doubts... but when he is happy with his BS, he will fight tooth and nail against anyone who threatens them.
in other words you can only reach those who are not happy with what they believe... anything you tell them will make them feel pleasure, while those who are happy will only feel pain... for those you can plant a seed, but it will only grow when they become dissatisfied with their BS...which may take a very long time.

experinces are facts, beliefs about them are mostly fiction.
you experience a presence- fact
you FEEL with a CERTAINTY that it is God - fact
it is God - not a fact, just a very compelling conclusion.
in the final analysis there are ONLY experiences as facts, beliefs can be useful, even compelling but there is no way to know if they are absolutely accurate or just seem that way... so Agnosticism seems to me to be the only honest option.
Belief Systems are BS
and there seems nothing worse than a true beLIEveRCONviNcED that you need to accept his Belief System.

I do recall my first quick built...it was really a remake of a grocery store into a double kingdom hall in Montclair NJ...
It was winter and they had a propane heater...inside the building.
suddenly I felt nauseaous and my hearing cut out... I knew something was very wrong.
I think I got outside just before my legs gave out.
jw's claim they are not a cult because their kindom hall meetings are open to the public.

any group that forces members to lie or pretend to keep friends and family is what I would call a cult.
an honest person is punished for saying he can no longer call himself a JW because he no longer believes the Belief System [BS].
a dishonest person is allowed to remain in good standing... and there are lots of them.
i was wondering how many of you think that the name jehovah is actually correct?
to be honest with you, everytime i hear it i cringe.
i had that name shoved down my throat for the past 30 years by my witness mother-in-law.
JWs say they use Jehovah as it is the most common in english, but they seem to be less then honest .
I had a THE TRUTH book in greek and they use IXOBA which is very different from what greeks had in their language from early times, namely IOBE
there are people who have claimed or who to claim to be jesus.. i am ignorant of any news about people claiming to be satan.. i'll do my own research but if anyone knows any incidences off the top of their head?
please share.... the threads on satan made me wonder about the phenomenon of people taking on this superior identity..
